The West Show has a wide selection of exhibit classes that can be entered by residents of St Saviour, St Pierre du Bois and Torteval.
The 2017 schedule provides full details of all of the classes, together with details on how to enter. An electronic version of the schedule is available to view and download from this website. Printed copies of the free schedule are available from the ticket outlets.
Once you have decided which class(es) you would like to enter, you will need to complete an entry form which is available to download on this page or can be found in the schedule. Please ensure you have read the rules for competitors which are also available to view on this website.
Please note that a membership ticket is required to enter the exhibit classes. These can be purchased from the outlets on the tickets page. They will also be available to purchase on the below dates. Details of ticket outlets can be found on our tickets page.
Committee members will also be selling membership tickets outside St Peter's Post Office on Saturday 29th July and Saturday 5th August from 10am until 4pm, and on Saturday 12th August from 10am until 3pm. They will be pleased to help you with any queries you may have regarding how to enter the exhibit classes.
Completed entry forms, together with the relevant entry fees, will be accepted on the following dates at St Pierre du Bois Parish Hall:
Saturday 5th August 2017, 6pm - 7pm: Fur & Feather*, Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Horse Riding and In Hand Sections
Saturday 12th August 2017, 3pm - 7pm: All tent exhibit classes
* We regret that after receiving advice from the States Vet with regard to the disease RHVD2, we will not be accepting entries in any of the rabbit classes in the Fur & Feather section this year.
When you have entered, you will be given a card and envelope for each exhibit you enter.
Bring your exhibits to the show either on Tuesday after 4pm or Wednesday morning before 10am, together with the completed card in the envelope with the relevant class number on the front. Once you have displayed your exhibit, please put the envelope next to it Judging commences at 10am so all exhibits must be in place before then. Committee members will be available should you require assistance finding your class location. Late exhibits will not be accepted.
There will be access for vehicles to enter the site from the gateway along Route des Adams for unloading of exhibits on the day, however vehicles must be cleared from the showground by 9:45am.
There will be no access to the tent until judging has finished (approximately 1pm).
Exhibits can be collected on Thursday between 8:30pm and 9:15pm, and there will be vehicle access after 8:30pm as before.

Trophies will be presented on Friday 8th September at Torteval Church Hall from 7pm.
2016 trophies should be returned to the show on the above entry nights. Trophies for ridden horse events must be returned by the 5th August, either to St Peter's Praish Hall between 6pm - 7pm, or to Mrs J Bufton, Donegal, Route de Pleinmont, Torteval.
Prize money can be collected from St Pierre du Bois Parish Hall on the following dates:
