Residents outside the three western parishes can now enter Goat exhibits at the West Show.
It is the most recent animal section to be opened to island-wide competitors following the Fur & Feather section in 2023, Sheep & Pigs in 2022 and Cattle in 2021. The Society continues to promote agricultural interest in Guernsey by opening these competitions to the whole island.
Owners of Cattle, Goats, Sheeps, Pigs and Fur & Feather who would be interested in exhibiting their animals in the West Show’s competitions can view the Schedule of Exhibit Classes booklet to view the classes available to enter. This will be released in May where it can be viewed online or a copy collected at selected outlets.
