Congratulations to Jurat David Robilliard who has been made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours 2024 for his services to the church and to the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
David has been associated with the West Show for over 50 years. Prior to his current position as an Honorary Vice-President, he served on the organising committee as an Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer and also Vice-President.
He has also held various positions within the States of Guernsey including as Principal Officer of the States Assembly and Constitution Committee, Her Majesty’s Deputy Greffier, and Secretary to the Bailiff of Guernsey.
As a Churchwarden for Torteval Parish Church, this year marks 52 years of his unbroken service on the Deanery Synod.
